about
Daniel Farkas
Daniel is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with almost a decade of experience that shows in the quality and range of treatment styles. He is an empath and gentle by nature.
Daniel is naturally intuitive and curious with each client in each session shows, which shows through his dedication to make a difference.
Daniel tries to keep active in sports and activity, so he can appreciate the need for deeper tissue and targeted treatments. However, he can also understand that gentle, slower massages can calm the sympathetic (stress response) nervous system to reset the nervous system indirectly through the musculoskeletal system.
His style of massage is a blend between the two modalities described above, but he can also adapt to your body and needs as he loves to collaborate with clients.

Daniel seems to always find the hidden muscles that one would not think were related to hip or back pain. 15 plus years and still the on RMT I trust.Posted on Jonathan MakTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daniel is a great massage therapist - you really get the sense that he's providing care, and he always seems to be able to figure out what's going on and causing my pain and discomfort. Highly recommend!Posted on B WTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely fantastic experience. I’ve not gotten a tonne of massages around the world, but I’ve been happy with the ones I’ve had so far. Now that I’ve tried it with Reset, I honestly can say that I was missing a great experience with the others. Just wow ! He was the first therapist to read my intake form and do something that focused on my concerns. Most I felt just did the same thing. Full body. My main concern was my shoulders and that I had scoliosis. He addressed that during the entire session and used techniques of osteopathy that I’d never experienced before. Really good listener and practitioner. Wish I lived nearby. Hands down the best I’ve experienced.Posted on Matthew HoldenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place!!

If you are worried about feeling sore after a session, we highly recommend not to exercise or go back to work after the session and to apply heat for 15 minutes to the affected area up to twice a day if your condition is chronic. If you have an acute condition, we recommend to apply an cold compressed but the RMT will go over with this after the massage. It is normal to feel sore 1-2 days after a massage, unless it is a general relaxation massage. The body tends to become less and less sore each subsequent visit as the sensitive trigger points in the muscle start to calm down and smooth out with hands-on treatment. We recommend you stick to a schedule of weekly or biweekly massage until your condition has resolved.
No, you don’t have to but it is also normal to talk for the first 5-10 minutes in a massage in order to make sure everything is comfortable and your needs are being met. In order to relax your body, you should rest as if you are planning to go to sleep. The RMT will check in during the massage to make sure you are comfortable or OK. It is best to keep conversations to a minimum so that the RMT can focus on the task at hand. Please note that talk therapy is not in the scope of practice of a RMT.
We use an unscented lotion that absorbs naturally in the skin. Unique to Reset Massage Therapy, we provide a hot towel service for the back to prevent skin breakouts as a lot of clients do unfortunately head back to work or can’t shower right away.
